I can't believe how time flies. It's been a long while since my last post. The last time I posted was April 2013 and a lot has happened since then. Mom has been traveling, busy with her prayer group activities and events, and taking care of us. She drives around in her new hybrid (gas/electric) car and helped Johnny and I remodel our townhouse. She goes to her regular doctor appointments weekly and attending family functions when her schedule allows. We also mourned the loss of Grandma, a woman with a legacy of greatness and importance, our matriarch, to which we will try to live up to and pass on to generations to come.
We would like to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving to all our loved ones all over the world. At a time when society says that social media discourages real social interaction, it is not true for us. Technology and social media has helped keep our ties together, keep us updated with one another, encourage us to communicate more often, and share our lives. So I'm grateful for that. Please keep in touch in whatever medium suits you.
